Time Warner Cable and the Henderson-Vance Chamber of Commerce will hold a screening for Time Warner Cable’s latest ‘Your Town, Our Town’ video. The premier will be held tonight, Monday, December 8th in the Farm Bureau Room at the H. Leslie Perry Library located at 205 Breckenridge Street. The screening will begin at 6:00pm.
Time Warner Cable selects counties in their service area and produces ‘Your Town, Our Town’ videos for communities to showcase the best of the best in their area to prospective businesses and visitors. Time Warner Cable donated the video to Henderson-Vance Chamber of Commerce at a value of $10,000. The Chamber and other economic development and tourism organizations can send a copy of the video to interested parties to give them a first hand look of the many attractions in Vance County. “The close proximity to several major highways makes Vance County an ideal location for business,” says public affairs director Cindy Keene. “Kerr Lake is absolutely gorgeous and is a very desirable place to live or to spend leisure time. The rich history of the county leads to many locations and activities. The numerous annual festivals and events are also a big highlight for the county and its residents.”
The Vance County video is the fourth produced by Time Warner Cable’s East Carolina Division. The initial videos were produced for those counties in the Kerr-Tar Hub project. Along with Monday’s premier, the video will be shown on Carolina 24 (TWC Channel 24) during a ‘See NC’ program that will air several times weekly in January.
