Release Date: 06/23/2005

Trisha Norwood and Brian Sickles have been appointed to director positions with Time Warner Cable.

As the director of network and dispatch operations, Trisha Norwood will manage dispatch operations, facilitating communication between customer service personnel and field technicians serving cable television, high-speed Internet, and digital phone customers. Norwood, who has been with Time Warner Cable for 26 years, has extensive experience with many facets of the cable business and has a strong record of preserving a cohesive, well-trained technical staff during periods of rapid growth and change. In 1995, she managed the construction and installation of a state-of-the-art Network Operations Center, the division’s 24-hour surveillance and communications center. Norwood is a member of Women in Cable and Telecommunications (WICT) and the National Association of Minorities in Cable. She lives with her husband in Mira Mesa, and supports the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event in Mira Mesa/Rancho Penasquitos as a planning committee member since 2001.

Brian Sickles has been appointed director of quality control and operations. In that role, Brian oversees all quality control efforts for field and call center representatives, contract administration, and staffing recommendations. With nearly 10 years of call center management experience, Sickles joined Time Warner Cable in June 2004 as a quality assurance manager where he was responsible for all quality and customer satisfaction initiatives for all call center agents. A resident of Pacific Beach, Sickles earned an MBA from the University of San Diego, and supports the local chapter of the Huntington’s Disease Association and Leashes for Living, an organization which trains assistance dogs.
