NY1 Noticias’ Carleth Keys & Stephanie Vies To Appear On The Company’s Float

The Sixth Consecutive Year of TWC’S Participation in Parade Underscores Commitment to Puerto Rican Community

New York, NY – Time Warner Cable will again participate in the annual Puerto Rican Day Parade for a sixth consecutive year and feature Salsa singer Frankie Negron on its “El Paquetazo” float on Sunday, June 12.  Frankie Negron is best known for his salsa tunes, romantic ballads and emotionally charged vocal performances.  Negron has earned numerous Grammy Award nominations, Billboard Award nods and two Premio Lo Nuestro Awards for Song of the Year.

“For the past six years, Time Warner Cable has been a proud participant in the Puerto Rican Day Parade.  Each year our employees are eager to participate and accompany our El Paquetazo float down the parade route and greet thousands of excited New Yorkers ,” said Bobby Amirshahi, Vice President of Communications in New York City, Time Warner Cable.  “We’re thrilled that Salsa sensation Frankie Negron and our colleagues from NY1 Noticias join us as we celebrate with the over two million New Yorkers who gather on this special day in celebration of Puerto Rican heritage." he added.

The Parade travels along Fifth Avenue from 44th Street to 79th Street in Manhattan and begins at 11AM on Sunday, June 12.

NY1 Noticias’ anchor Carleth Keys and traffic reporter Stephanie Vies will appear atop the company’s “El Paquetazo” float.  NY1 Noticias is Time Warner Cable’s 24-hour local Spanish-language news station.

El Paquetazo is an attractively priced digital video package designed to bring the best mix of Spanish and English-language channels to Hispanic households in New York City.
