LINCOLN (November 2, 2011) – Two of the top high school football teams in the state of Nebraska will face off in Crete this Friday night, and Time Warner Cable will broadcast the action on a tape-delayed basis.
Play-by-play announcer Chuck Willbrand will have the call of the playoff matchup between the Crete Cardinals (10-0) and the Aurora Huskies (8-2), which will be available on Nebraska On Demand (TWC Channel 411) beginning Monday morning.
Crete has been dominant this season, having gone undefeated thus far with an average margin of victory of over 27 points-per-game. The Huskies also enter the playoffs with good momentum, having gone undefeated over their past five games. Friday’s game will be hosted by Crete and will be played at Simon Field on the campus of Doane College.
