Network's Mobile TV Studio Visits West Muskingum High School in Zanesville

Columbus, OH - The award-winning C-SPAN School Bus will visit West Muskingum High School and talk with social studies teachers and students about the resources C-SPAN offers to enhance their teaching and learning.
Organized by Time Warner Cable, the C-SPAN School Bus will visit West Muskingum High School at 200 Kimes Road in Zanesville from 8am – 12pm.  Social studies faculty and students will come aboard the mobile production studio as C-SPAN staff share the major components of its new education approach. Teachers will learn how C-SPAN can be used in their teaching methods to meet national standards. Topics like the three branches of government, the U.S. Constitution and political participation are brought to life for students with the networks' vast public policy video resources. Teachers also will learn about C-SPAN Classroom, a free service which already has several thousand teachers taking advantage of its limitless video archives, lesson tools and a liberal copyright policy.

In the Zanesville area, C-SPAN can be seen on channel 22, C-SPAN2 on channel 14 and C-SPAN3 on digital channel 116.
