Time Warner Cable Expanding Direct Sales & Tech Support Workforce in Florence, KY Market

Florence, KY (June 3, 2015) – Time Warner Cable is looking to hire more than 40 employees for full-time direct sales and technical support positions in the Florence, KY market.

Company representatives will be on hand to interview qualified candidates on Thurs., June 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for direct sales positions and 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for tier III technical support jobs at Time Warner Cable, 7906 Dixie Hwy., in Florence. Time Warner Cable will not be available to meet with applicants who arrive at different dates or times then specified.

During the fair, candidates will have the opportunity to meet sales and tech leaders and assess the company culture, while learning about hours, pay, and training prior to making the decision to apply for the position online. Those wanting to move forward will participate in a 10-minute speed interview. Candidates who have successfully sold themselves will be invited for a final interview within 48 hours of the event.

Direct sales representatives will be responsible for cable, internet, and phone sales to new customers. This will include contractual sales, collecting money, and installation of equipment as needed. Representatives must be willing to travel and interact with customers on a face-to-face basis.

These positions have considerable earning potential, great benefits and opportunities for career growth. Average sales representatives make $40,000-$60,000 with top performers earning $80-100,000. Technical support representatives will provide residential customers with high-level, advanced technical support specifically for Time Warner Cable data, video and voice products. This position responds to and resolves individual service issues and proactively identifies and responds to network problems and service stability concerns. This position proactively utilizes all diagnostic and monitoring tools available to ensure uninterrupted service for all of our customers.

Job requirements include basic working knowledge of terminal-related equipment, strong PC hardware and software skills, networking experience, excellent communication, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills.
