Time Warner Cable Expanding Workforce by 75 in Columbus, Ohio

TWC Committed to Increasing Customer Satisfaction & Delivering a Much Improved Service Experience

Columbus, OH (October 13, 2015) – Time Warner Cable today announced that its expanding its technical operations, inbound sales, direct sales and retail workforce by more than 75 at its Columbus, Ohio operations as part of its commitment to increasing customer satisfaction and delivering a much improved service experience.

Time Warner Cable highlighted some of the significant changes made over the last two years, beginning with an “open letter” to customers published in major newspapers across the country during “Customer Service Week” earlier this month.

In addition, the company launched a new television campaign, speaking directly to its customers about the significant changes made over the last two years and what’s still to come to provide them with an enhanced service experience.

“This significant increase in jobs in the Columbus, Ohio market is part of TWC’s commitment to increasing customer satisfaction and delivering a much improved service experience,” said Shannon Atkinson, Area Vice President at Time Warner Cable. “Over the last two years, we’ve made profound changes to better respect customers’ time, provide more value for what they pay us and deliver the kind of experience anyone would expect from a leading entertainment and technology company. The many changes we’ve made are just the beginning of the new TWC service experience.”

A hiring event will take place Thursday, October 15 from 4PM to 7PM at Hyatt Place, 795 Yard St., in Columbus, to begin scouting potential candidates for the new positions.

During the event, candidates will have the opportunity to meet hiring leaders and assess the company culture, while learning about hours, pay, training and job responsibilities. Candidates who have successfully sold themselves will be invited for a final interview.

Field technicians are responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing residential equipment/ services. Inbound sales and direct sales representatives are in charge of selling residential cable, internet, home phone, and home management/security services. Retail associates assist customers in the selection, purchase, or upgrade/downgrade/disconnect of products and services, as well as processing payments and equipment pick-ups/returns.
