Time Warner Cable 'Experience Store' Opens in Charlotte

New Store Continues TWC’s Commitment to Improve the Customer Experience

Charlotte, NC (February 17, 2016) - Time Warner Cable announced today the grand opening of a new experience store in Charlotte located on South Blvd. in the Shops at Southline area. The new store features an innovative retail concept aimed at providing customers with exceptional customer service as well as providing an enhanced, hands-on experience to learn about and enjoy Time Warner Cable’s suite of TV, Internet and Phone products and services.

“Our Experience Stores are an important new way we’re connecting with consumers,” said Charlene Keys, Time Warner Cable’s area vice president of operations for Charlotte. “As we continue to introduce new product technologies and features, our newly designed stores will serve as a resource for customers to better understand everything we have to offer. This store is all about improving customer service and providing a relaxed, engaging environment that encourages people to interact with and sample our products.”

Located on 2222 South Blvd. (Shops at Southline area), Time Warner Cable’s new store will host a grand opening event and ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, February 19, at 9:30 a.m. The event will be attended by local elected officials, Time Warner Cable executives and business leaders. 

The store’s grand opening will be highlighted by several customer appreciation activities. WNKS-FM – KISS 95.1 will broadcast live and customers are encouraged to visit the new store, enjoy complimentary refreshments, gifts and giveaway items including two tickets to the March 4 Charlotte Hornets vs. Indiana Pacers game and an autographed Frank Kaminsky jersey. The Charlotte Hornets’ Honey Bees and mascot Hugo will also make appearances.

In celebration of the grand opening and Time Warner Cable’s commitment to the Charlotte community, the company will also recognize the Green Teacher Network. A grant will be provided to support the STEM2Fork event, a culinary cooking competition for high school students. The Green Teacher Network promotes STEM education and food sustainability to students in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools by helping to create schoolyard gardens.
