Columbus, OH (May 27, 2015) – Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC) today announced the launch of Enhanced DVR, an advanced set-top box with dramatically improved DVR features and capacity, in the company’s Midwest central service areas including Columbus, Dayton and Chillicothe among others.
Enhanced DVR customers can simultaneously record up to six different programs and enjoy up to six times more storage than their current DVR, with the ability to save 150 hours of high-definition (HD) programming on its 1-terabyte (1,000 gigabytes) hard drive. Consumers with Whole House Enhanced DVR can also watch, pause, rewind and fast-forward shows recorded on the Enhanced DVR on up to four other HD set-top boxes in the home.
