San Diego, CA – November 15, 2006 – Time Warner Cable San Diego president Judy Walsh was named one of the “120 Top Influentials” in the County at a recognition banquet last week held by The Daily Transcript. The local business newspaper celebrates its 120 year anniversary this month with a special edition of the publication that recognizes all 120 local individuals for their leadership in shaping a future San Diego.
Of the several hundred people that were nominated, the editors of the publication chose 120 leaders they felt are especially influential within today’s broader business community. Walsh was recognized for her leadership of Time Warner Cable San Diego’s 800 employees and the approximately 260,000 local households who have access to Time Warner Cable’s video, digital phone and high speed internet services. Also noted was Walsh’s initiation of the division’s internal reorganization project last year. GECCO (Generating Excellent Customer Care and Ownership) was an operating model that helped redefine company standards and better meet customer needs.
“I am honored to have been selected as one of San Diego’s top influentials,” Walsh said, “and look forward to serving our customers and the community by providing top notch service and innovative products.”
