Time Warner Cable Provides TWC WiFi™ Hotspots at the Wells Fargo Championship

WiFi Network Available For Free Around the Course

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Time Warner Cable will provide free WiFi access at the Wells Fargo Championship allowing PGA TOUR fans fast, reliable Internet access from any Wi-Fi-enabled laptop, smartphone or tablet. Fans will be able to access TWC WiFi in popular spectator areas around Quail Hollow including the Event Lawn, Driving Range, 18 fairway and on many of the greens.

To access, users should first be sure the WiFi setting on their device is “on” and select the “TWCWiFi” network name from wireless network options. Then they simply open a browser where they will be prompted to sign-in to the complimentary TWC WiFi provided at the event. Spectators at the tournament are encouraged to adhere to the Mobile Device Policy set forth by the PGA TOUR.

Access to the TWC WiFi network is always free to Time Warner Cable customers with Standard Internet or above and to Time Warner Cable Business Class Internet customers at hundreds of locations around Charlotte such as Center City, Southend, Myers Park, Dilworth, Midtown and TWC Arena. Qualified customers also have free access to the nation’s largest free WiFi Hotspot network, with more than 100,000 hotspots in major cities across the country including New York City; Los Angeles; Chicago; Philadelphia; Atlanta; Baltimore; Boston; Washington, D.C.; San Francisco; Orlando; Tampa; Kansas City; Charlotte and more.
