My Account uses the following to ensure that your information is secure:
- SSL (secure sockets layer) to ensure your connection and information is secure.
- 128-bit encryption to make your information unreadable as it passes over the Internet.
- The registration process requires you to verify that you are the primary account holder through your Customer Code (also known as Security Code) and an email confirmation. You will be notified by email of any changes to your Username, Password, Security Questions or Email Address.
- To prevent unauthorized access to your account information, we will lock your account after five unsuccessful log in attempts.
If you access My Account from a public computer, do not check the Remember Me box, as this will store your Username on that computer. After you logout of My Account, be sure to close your browser as an added security measure.
