How do I add keypad codes for family members or guests?

If you assign a unique keypad code to each member of your family, your event history shows you who has armed or disarmed your system. It also enables you to limit access to your master keypad code, which is the only code that enables you to make changes to your IntelligentHome system setup.

To add a keypad code using your TouchScreen:

  1. On your touchscreen, press the Settings button.
  2. Enter your master keypad code.
  3. Select Security, and then press Manage Keypad Codes.
  4. Select Add Keycode.
  5. In the Name text box, enter the name of the person to whom you are assigning the code.
  6. In the 4-Digit Code text box, enter a new keypad code.
    • The code you enter cannot match an existing keypad code.
  7. From the Level drop-down list, select one of the following security levels:
    • Standard or Guest. The user can arm and disarm the system.
    • Arm only. The user can only arm the system.
  8. Under Active Days, you can specify that the keypad code is enabled only on specific days of the week. All days are selected by default. If you wish to limit the days on which the keypad code can be used, click the days for which you want the code to be disabled.
  9. Click Save. Your new keypad code is now displayed in the list.

  4. Click Add Keypad Code.
  5. Click the digits of your master keypad code.
  6. Enter the Name of the person to whom you are assigning the code.
