How do I arm and disarm my IntelligentHome security system?


You can arm and disarm your Home Security system using any of the following:


TouchScreen

To arm:
  1. At the top of the touchscreen, tap the Security Status header when it is in a disarmed state, or tap the IntelligentHome app.
  2. Select the arming mode.
  3. Enter your security code.
  4. The Security Status header changes to display an Exit Delay countdown in the upper left-hand corner.
  5. If you select the Arm Away mode, but do not trip an Entry/Exit Zone during the Exit Delay, the security system will automatically set to Arm Stay mode.
To disarm:
  1. Tap the Security Status header when it is in an armed state, or tap the IntelligentHome app.
  2. Enter your security code. The Security Status header will confirm that the system is disarmed.

Subscriber Portal

To arm:
  1. Sign in to the Subscriber Portal.
  2. Select “Disarmed, Click to Arm.”
  3. Select the alarming mode: Stay, Away, or Night.
  4. Enter your Keypad Code. The countdown is then displayed on the home page.
To disarm:
  1. From the Subscriber Portal Home page, select the button labeled “Armed (Stay, Away, or Night), Click to Disarm.”
  2. Enter your Keypad Code.

IntelligentHome App

To arm:
  1. Sign in to the IntelligentHome app.
  2. Select “Disarmed, Press to Arm.”
  3. Select the alarming mode: Stay, Away, or Night.
  4. Enter your Keypad Code. The countdown is then displayed on the home page.
To disarm:
  1. While signed in, select the button labeled “Armed (Stay, Away, or Night), Click to Disarm.”
  2. Enter your Keypad Code.

Key Fob

To arm:
  1. On your key fob, press and hold the Arm Away  or Arm Stay  button.
  2. A red light blinks on the key fob, and the exit delay period begins to count down.
To disarm:
  1. On your key fob, press and hold the Disarm  button.
  2. A green light blinks on the key fob, and your system is disarmed.

Note: If an orange light blinks on the key fob, the system is not ready to be armed. For example, a window or door might be open.


Secondary Keypad

To arm:
  1. Enter your four-digit keypad code.
  2. Press the Arm Away  or Arm Stay  button. The Disarm  button turns red for 3 seconds, and the exit delay period begins to count down.

    Note: If the system is not ready for arming (because, for example, a door is opened) the Disarm button flashes orange seven times.

To disarm:
  1. Enter your four-digit keypad code.
  2. Press the Disarm  button. The button is lit green, and your system is disarmed.
