What is My Location and how does it work?

My Location* is a feature of VoiceZone® Connect that is used in conjunction with both Call Control and Click to Call.

In the My Location Settings tab, you can add up to five phone numbers (locations) where you or your family are frequently located when away from home. Note that you will need to have Internet access and a computer at these locations. My Location will automatically append your Phone service phone numbers to your My Locations list, but they do not count as part of the five you choose to designate. You can even assign a Friendly Name to the locations, like Work, Paradise, or Cell.

With the Call Control feature, you can direct incoming calls to your Phone service phone to an alternate number so it can be answered in real time even though you aren’t at home.

With Click to Call, you can easily place calls from your VoiceZone® Connect application even when you’re away from home. You can take advantage of your calling plan - including international calls - even while you’re away from home.

Tip: My Location numbers are tied to your TWC ID and any device you set them up on, so you can add different numbers to your My Location settings on different computers. My Location numbers must be valid 10 digit numbers.

Note: As of October 27th, 2016, VoiceZone Connect is no longer available for download. Existing customers who already have VoiceZone Connect on their computers are, however, able to continue using the application.
